My Review: This meat thermometer is perfect for me. I’m not a cook, in fact, 90% of the time I either under cook or over cook the meat. The other 10% of the time, someone else checked it for me. I can burn water, that’s a fact I’ve proven a few times. However, I used this meat thermometer with the pork loin I cooked this weekend and I was in awe with the smart LCD lighting on this unit. Blue light means it needs to continue cooking, Green light means, time to eat! Red light means, you over cooked it, and probably going to taste like my typical meal.
As soon as this turned green for me, I immediately took it out of the oven and cut into it to see how ‘well’ it was done, and it turned out PERFECT. For once I didn’t under cook or over cook the meat, and my kids rejoiced. The remote allowed me to wander around the house without worrying about constantly checking the oven (okay, I never did that before anyway…probably why I burnt a lot of food), and it also gave me a peace of mind that I wasn’t going to feed the kids under cooked food.
See for yourself how well the meat turned out with the attached photos!
