My Review: The instructions that came with the KINDEN External DVD Burner are very misleading as to the “pop-up” feature is actually just to “pop” out the disc tray. Comes with 2 sets of cleaning wipes and 2 lint free soft cloths, and a free dvd-rw. Beware, device does not pop open like a lid as in the instructions.
It utilizes USB 3.0, for the fastest data transfer speeds available over USB. I can write at a maximum of 8x for DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 24x for CD-R, and 10x for CD-RW.
The design is a nice frosted paint job, and the usb cord wraps in a groove at the bottom of the device.
Overall, good product, simple plug and play design
