My review: This self-stirring mug by OFKP holds about 12 ounces of fluid and the stirring mechanism is easy to operate. The tiny propeller at the bottom of the tumbler works rather ingeniously. It creates a whirlpool in the mug, but it even with the lid off, it doesn’t cause any spillage. The liquid stays in the cup while spinning (that in itself is awesome) and it thoroughly stirs your drink. It is not dishwasher safe, and not microwave safe (hello? steel + microwave = insurance claim on your house). The button to turn on and off the stirring is located at the top of the tumbler’s handle and is easy to press. It takes 2 AAA batteries and the battery cover is a rubber piece that ‘snaps’ into the bottom of the tumbler.
I should also mention, that when I first saw this product, I thought the “Self Stirring Mug” was just on the Amazon photos for product awareness but no, it’s on all shipped tumblers as well. People have stopped me and asked me if it really stirs itself, and then I have to take off the top of the tumbler and show them how it work. They are usually wowed by it and let’s be honest, I’m still a little wowed by it.
Great product for tea and coffee enthusiasts, great for kids hot chocolates too!
